Website proposal

A website that makes Royal Gemini the obvious fuel partner

We propose a 7-page corporate website, managed through a CMS, that presents Royal Gemini as an established energy partner, explains its three services, lets corporate clients request a quote in under a minute, and helps motorists find the nearest station.

01

Goals and audiences

The site has one job per audience, and every page is built around the action that audience should take next.

VisitorWhat they needPrimary action on the site
Corporate clients (telecoms, site operators)Proof we can keep generators running across many locationsRequest a quote (generator fuelling form)
Bulk diesel buyersSupply capacity, delivery coverage, reliabilityRequest a quote (bulk supply form)
Businesses needing storageTank capacity, safety standards, location of depotsStorage enquiry form
Motorists / publicNearest station, products sold (PMS, AGO), opening hoursStation finder with map and directions
Partners and investorsCompany history, leadership, scale, complianceRead About page, download company profile, contact

Success measures for launch: quote requests submitted per month, station-finder searches, and time to first contact for a corporate lead (target: same business day).

Homepage structure

The homepage follows a calm, premium reference layout, with each section rewritten for a fuel and energy business.

Inner pages reuse these blocks. Each service page has: hero, what the service includes, who it is for, how it works, coverage or capacity, FAQ and a quote form. The station finder is a split view: list on the left, map on the right, stacked on mobile.

05

Design direction

A calm, premium structure with an industrial, dependable feel.

  • Layout: wide rounded image panels, generous white space, one idea per section, alternating light and dark bands.
  • Colour: Royal Gemini's brand colours lead (to confirm). Proposed default: deep navy for dark bands, white and warm grey for light bands, and one strong accent (fuel amber) used only on buttons and key numbers.
  • Type: a confident grotesk for headlines and a readable sans for body text, both free Google Fonts so there are no licence costs.
  • Photography: real photos of Royal Gemini stations, tankers, depots and staff. Stock photos only as placeholders until a shoot is done; a half-day shoot is recommended.
  • Mobile first: most visitors will be on phones, so the station finder, call button and WhatsApp link are reachable with one thumb.
  • Performance: pages target under 2 seconds on a 4G connection, with compressed images and no heavy animation.
06

CMS: what your team can edit

We recommend Sanity as the CMS: staff edit content in a simple web dashboard, changes go live in seconds without a developer, and the free tier covers a site of this size.

Quote and enquiry submissions are emailed to the right team (generator fuelling, bulk supply or storage) and also stored in the CMS, so no lead is lost if an email is missed. Live pump prices are left out of phase 1, as prices change often and stale prices online cause complaints; we can add them later if Royal Gemini wants to maintain them.

07

Technology and timeline

Fast pages, good search ranking, and no servers for Royal Gemini to maintain. About 8 weeks from sign-off, assuming content arrives during phase 1.
